1977 Murder of a child, "Cynthia Elizabeth Tew" in Shreveport LA?

I just found a post about Cindy that was posted 5 years ago asking about her murder. I was her niece and best friend. She was 9 and I was 8 years old when she was murdered. They never solved the case, it is now a cold case. They did try to convict Andy Dino but couldn't and he did die a few years later of cancer. Her murder effected a lot of people, it took my best friend, aunt and my childhood. When she was killed I blamed myself and blocked out all memories of my childhood. I still to this day miss her and remember the feeling I had the hours surrounding her untimely death. I don't understand how our law enforcement let a child murder walk away. The person that brutally killed her is still walking the streets somewhere. How do you look yourself in the mirror every day knowing you killed an innocent child!??!
