(around)2000 Dinosaur pc game?

There was this one game I used to play when I was a kid, and I cannot, for the life of me, remember it's name. What I do remember, however, is that it involved this little light green with purple dinosaur who was trying to collect all of these dino eggs to defeat.. the t-rex, I think? And the t-rex would get in the way with finding these eggs, and you had three chances to search for it in a specific area before the t-rex would come and scare you away. If you successfully found the egg, the little dinosaur would take the egg back to a volcano, and once you collected them all, they would hatch. and I'm PRETTY sure that the main dinosaur had a backpack? Although I could be wrong. But anyways. Anybody care to help me out here? I would really appreciate it. :)
