Is this the new democratic way running a democrat as a Tea Party person to win?

this new York deal had a democrat run as TP member so maybe he was a DINO, but still took 9% of the vote and that allowed the Dem to win. Sorta like the Perot deal running and taking 20 million votes from Bush One allowing Clinton to win. old idea but it works. Way to go Dems.
