Is this thoery of how man came to earth possible?

there are many thoeries that tell us how we came to earth. but is it possible that the meteor that hit earth millions of years ago, is where we originated from? think about it this way. a meteor hits earth(full of dinos and what not) then man comes to evolve. could we have been alien life on the metoer that evolutionized here on earth. is that why we get the feeling we are not alone in the universe because we came from another planet or some part of habitatable space fit for life. Are we in fact aliens from another world?
